Algoryte is a growing company, looking for a motivated CG artist. We are looking for a highly qualified and artistic individual, who is proficient in 3D Modeling and animations as well as game engines such as Unreal, and Unity. Responsibilities

  • The CG Artist applies creative, collaborative, technical and quality-control skills to high-level concepts

  • The CG Artist will be expected to play a hands-on production role as 3D animator, CG motion graphics artist, and VFX artist as needed for projects in the department

  • The CG Artist will be well-versed in Maya, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, Mudbox and ZBrush

  • Work collaboratively with team members, VFX Supervisors, CG Supervisor and Technical Director to effectively & efficiently meet client expectations

  • 3D modeling, texturing, animating, lighting and rendering multi-pass elements

  • 3D tracking of footage

  • Assisting in quoting of CG oriented sequences

  • Work with CG Supervisor in methodology and solutions for CG shots/sequences

  • Must be able to work under the guidance of a CG Supervisor or VFX Supervisor to achieve the desired level of aesthetic quality and technical accuracy

  • Collaborate with modelers, lighters and texture artists to create the final look of a CG asset

Requirements

  • Shipped AAA titles on Mobile, PC or consoles (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, XboxOne)

  • Fine arts Background or Strong traditional art skills (Drawing or sculpting) or equivalent training/experience

  • Should be proficient in 3D packages such as Maya, Max and Zbrush

  • Excellent Photoshop skills and ability to create realistic & stylized hand painted textures

  • PBR work flow and procedural software’s such as Substance Painter, Designer and Quixel DDO is Plus

  • Working experience of game engines such as Unreal and Unity is Plus
